We were introduced to Bombay by some friends. They are regular patrons for many years and in fairness their recommendation was well warranted. After 2 trips here we are suitably impressed. The owner seems to be always on hand to offer a warm friendly welcome. Staff are all very nice. Our food has been great and Tuesdays the menu is mostly half price. All in all this is a great place to eat

Carlow, IrelandWas travelling through Carlow and stopped off to have a bite to eat. As always, a challenge with a gluten-free diet. Stumbled across this gem. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The menu was very well outlined. Majority of dishes were gluten free. Food was delish. Well worth a visit.

IrelandWe ordered the prawn in batter and garlic mushrooms for starters. They were so deep fried the mushrooms were actually wet with grease and there was very little taste from the prawns. For main we ordered the curry which was nice and beef korma which was extremely sweet - too sweet that it was almost sickly. I couldn't finish it. We got egg fried rice on the side which was an additional €4.95 which I thought was ridiculous as each main course was €15.95. I had two glasses of white wine which I enjoyed and was reasonable at €5 a glass. We were staying in Carlow for the night but were really disappointed as we love Indian food and felt it was not worth the €60 we paid. The setting of the restaurant nice but the service is very average. Not even a jug of water put on the table we had to ask for it.

My friends and I booked a table for 7pm for my Big Birthday Bash! A big thumbs up to the proprietor of Bombay Diner as he was very helpful with our balloons, birthday cake etc. It's "bring your own bottle" with free uncorking which suits us as we all have different tastes. Menu was extensive, prices very reasonable too. I loved the toned down lighting which creates an intimate atmosphere. Will definitely return very soon.
